A petrol golf cart can travel 60 to 80 kilometres on a full tank, depending on the terrain and load.

Regular maintenance involves cleaning and tightening terminals, inspecting tyre pressure and tread, lubricating steering and suspension parts, and testing brakes, lights, and the horn. Electric golf carts can comfortably reach speeds of 20 to 24 km/h, while petrol golf carts can achieve 25 to 30 km/h. Speed governors and electronic speed adjustments can be installed and activated by authorised technicians to comply with club or local regulations.

Check the battery health, look for corrosion on terminals, and ensure the frame is intact. Examine the vehicle for any cosmetic damage, and confirm that the tyres, suspension, steering, lights, horn, and brakes are functioning properly. Ensure the charger is included and working, and ask for proof of recent battery maintenance or replacement.
